Cleaning & Makeover Faqs

I've hired cleaning firms before but their standards were poor, how can you ensure consistency and high standards?
Jiant cleaning has a different approach to its rivals; we only promise what we can deliver. Cleaning usually takes place during a prearranged time slot outside of regular office hours. Remuneration is structured to offer an incentive for high quality work.

How can you ensure a high level of staff attendance, absenteeism was rife with the previous contractors?
We normally request that the client provides at least a four hour time slot for cleaning activities, preferably all evening and overnight access. This arrangement allows a colleague or emergency relief worker to cover any absence.

With the previous cleaning contractor I paid for a agreed number of man-hours. However corners were often cut and I suspect that cleaning staff left early. How can you avoid this?
Jiant does not specify a certain number of cleaning hours or charge by the hour. A detailed cleaning specification is written for each contract, Jiant agrees to implement the full specification at the required frequency to an agreed standard. Cleaning staff will not leave until they have completed all their duties, regular monitoring and incentives ensure that high standards are maintained.

Property Marketing faqs - Floorplans

I have already measured the property and produced a rough sketch, can you produce a floorplan based on these details?
Yes, provided the sketch is very clear with sufficient detail.

If I place an order, how does the process work?
Once your order has confirmed, the vendor will be contacted on the same day. An appointment will normally be arranged for following day depending on the vendor's availability. A site survey normally takes about thirty minutes, depending on the size of the property. The completed floorplan will then be forwarded the next day. The entire process from the time of ordering usually takes 2-3working days, assuming access to the property has been granted.

Can I place an order by phone?
Ideally clients should place an order by email including all necessary details including the address and vendors phone number. A confirmation email will be sent on the same day.

How accurate are your floor plans?
All stated measurements have a 10cm (3inch) margin of error. Jiant does not offer an absolute guarantee, but all reasonable efforts are taken to ensure accuracy. The floorplan is intended as a layout guide only, some features may be simplified or omitted for the purposes of clarity and speedy production.

Do you include a compass point on all your plans?
Yes, if requested. However clients should double check all measurements, localised magnetic interference can sometimes result in an inaccurate reading.

Property Marketing Faqs - Virtual Tours

How can I integrate a virtual tour into my website.
The tour works by displaying 360-degree panoramic images using a java applet (small computer programme). Clients can either use their own applet or one can be supplied. The web page and the applet can either be uploaded to the client's server or Jiant can host the tour and provide a direct link. The latter option will attract an additional charge.

On close inspection I noticed that some curvature and distortion in the images, can this be eliminated?
It is possible to remove the distortion if a different applet is used. However this tends to reduce the download speed because of the larger size of the applet. Most clients agree that some distortion is an acceptable trade-off for a fast down load speed.
